Ryan Roorda - Lead Sports Designer / Bristol Herald Courier

Ryan Roorda, a graduate of Emory & Henry College, joined the Herald Courier in August 2007 as the lead sports designer. During his four years at E&H, he worked for the Public Relations Department while also editing the campus newspaper and yearbook.

Roorda was also a member of the Bonner Scholars program, a unique service-oriented organization that constantly gives back to the community. He was honored to receive the awards for Outstanding Senior in the mass communications department, as well as Outstanding Male Senior for E&H.

During his downtime, he enjoys spending time with his family, reading magazines and novels, writing short stories and partaking in his extreme passion for television on DVD.
