Mallory Nicholls grew up in the small town of Dunn in North Carolina. She is the weekend meteorologist here at News Channel 11. She joined the team in June of 2008. Not only does she forecast the weather for the weekend, but she also helps out Mark and Rob when needed. She is also a part of the weekly Living Green segments that air on Monday's at 5:00pm.

Mallory graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology with a concentration in communications. While in school, Mallory participated in the meteorology club and was elected president her senior year. She was also a student member of the American Meteorological Society, forecasted for the school newspaper, and was a teacher's assistant for a meteorology course at NC State. Her on-air experience came from a live student run broadcast program at the University of North Carolina that aired bi-weekly in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Mallory is enjoying the beautiful mountains here in the Tri-Cities and all this area has to offer. Aside from her enjoyment in forecasting the weather, she also loves sports, animals, eating, traveling, visiting my family, and meeting new people. Mallory most likes to be outdoors in the sunshine, but enjoys an occasional good thunderstorm.
