Hunters for the Hungry enters 10th season
With the opening of Tennessee?s gun deer season just days away, the Tennessee Wildlife Federation (TWF) has announced that the Hunters for the Hungry program will again be in place to offer donated venison to hunger relief organizations across the state.
Gun season for deer opens Nov. 17
Tennessee?s deer hunting season, which allows the use of guns, muzzleloaders, and archery equipment, opens on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, according to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA).
