We are still over 2 weeks away before the gentlemen get the call to start their engines, but already the fastest man in Bristol Motor Speedway history was in town Wednesday.
Ryan Newman took a few moments out of his busy schedule to meet with the media and talk about the upcoming Food City 500 and his new team Stewart-Haas Racing which is partially owned by Tony Stewart.
He claims the reason he left Penske after so many years is because he wanted to have some fun, but after 3 races Newman is 27th in the points standings.
The Food City 500 and Scott’s Turf Builder Nationwide race will get the green flag on the weekend of March 21st.
