Kyle Busch Wins Sharpie 500

UPDATE 10:55 p.m. Ambulances and rescue crews are out on the field after Michael Waltrip’s #55 wrecked near turn four. Joey Langano was also involved. Crews eventually cleaned up the track and racing resumed.

UPDATE 10:45 p.m. Twenty laps left to go and the caution is out after Martin Truex, Jr. wrecks.
Kyle Busch is in the lead, followed by Mark Martin, Marcos Ambrose, Greg Biffle and Ryan Newman. Dale Earnhardt, Jr. is in sixth.

UPDATE: 10:20 p.m.: Because of a pit-road error, Jimmie Johnson will re-start 21st after going into the pits in the lead.

Michael Waltrip is in the lead as the caution flag is out, due to a brief rain drizzle at Bristol. Following Waltrip is Ryan Newman, Mark Martin, Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch

Mark Martin is still in the lead, nearly at the halfway mark tonight at the Sharpie 500. Following Martin are Kurt Busch, Marcus Ambrose, Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson.

UPDATE 8:46 p.m.:  Bobby Labonte in the number 96 just hit the wall in the back straightaway, causing another caution.

UPDATE 8:35 p.m. A.J. Allmendinger just blew a tire to bring out the third caution of the night. Elliott Sadler gets the free pass this time.

UPDATE 8:24 p.m.: At lap 105 in the Sharpie 500, Mark Martin is in the lead. Following Martin are Busch, Biffle, Juan Pablo Montoya and Jimmie Johnson.

We’re nearly 50 laps into the Sharpie 500 in Bristol tonight at the Bristol Motor Speedway and Greg Biffle in the number 16 3M Ford is in the lead.

Rounding out the top five are Matt Kenseth, Mark Martin, Kurt Busch and Clint Bowyer.
