Greeneville, Dobyns-Bennett advance in girls’ state soccer tourney
Two teams from the Tri-cities have won their quarterfinal matches in the opening round of the TSSAA Girls’ State Soccer Tournament. In the A-AA bracket, the Greeneville Lady Green Devils defeated previously unbeaten Page 2-0, and will next play the winner of Dyersburg and Notre Dame in the semi-finals at 4:30 on Thursday. In class AAA, the Dobyns-Bennett Lady Indians defeated Brentwood 4-3, and will play the winner of Riverdale and Houston in the semifinals on Thursday at 4:30.
