Outlook
Senior quarterback Tyler Gaby returns to lead a Patriots squad that is fast, well-coached and focused. East suprised many with a 7-3 record in 2007 and the Patriots could surprise again this year by rivaling Tennessee High as the second-best team in the Mountain Lakes Conference. East is loaded with talent and speed at skill positions; a learning-on-the-job defense will be tested all season, though.
