Gate City authored one of the feel-good stories of the 2007 season. Despite three losses in the regular season, the Blue Devils used the gritty running of Tyler Parks and a physical defense to advance to the Group A, Division 2 state title game. Parks is gone, but the expectations are always high in Scott County.
