Ervinton began the preseason with just 13 players on its roster, but second-year head coach Ethan Owens is still optimistic. Among the leaders for him will be quarterback Robbie Rose, wide receiver Lee Turner, running back Nathan Lee and linemen Matthew Leftwich, Aaron Kiser and Ryan Milgram. The Rebels might be short on numbers, but not on determination.
