Powell Valley And Gate City Met In Region D Semi’s

as we take you to devault stadium, where it was a good night for baseball…..

the blue devils would strike first in this game when dustin jones rips a shot up the gut that would bring dusty clark home to score…... blue devils led 1-0…..

then in the same inning with a runner on first the vikings pitcher lucas fannon with this great pick-off move that helped get the runner out at 2nd…..

bottom half of the inning the vikes got on the board when fannon bounces one off the mound into center, that would bring home garrett austin to tie the game at 1-all

same inning when the vikings kenny burke finds the gap between shortstop and 3rd, that would allow fannon to score from 2nd base….. powell valley led 2-1…..

but it wasn’t enough as gate city won 11-4
