ESSENTIAL GRADUATION INFORMATION

Ervinton High School’s 2008 Graduation will take place May 23 at 7:00 pm on the Rebel football field.
The 2008 Ervinton High School Senior class consists of 41 members.

“The Ervinton High School graduating class of 2008 first came together as 8th graders in August 2004 and was composed of the 7th grade classes from Clinchco Elementary and Ervinton Elementary Schools.  We soon discovered that the eighth and ninth grade years were years of adjustment with a bit more freedom. With that freedom came a struggle with self-discipline.  However, our struggle paid off, and the tenth and eleventh grade years proved to be a time when many of us discovered our academic and athletic abilities.  We have spent our last year at Ervinton High School studying, playing sports, planning our senior trip, and anxiously choosing colleges and careers.  Our senior year has been one of joy, tinged with a bit of sadness.  Now, as we move forward, we will say goodbye to each other and EHS with anxious feelings, but also with hope and optimistic expectancy for our futures.”

The EHS senior class flower is the rose.
The class song is “I’m Not Gonna Cry.”
The class colors are blue and gold.
The EHS senior class motto is, “Act as though you were to live forever, and live as though you were to die tomorrow.”
