What could have been? writer asks
Who could have been?
I’ve pondered the horrific demise of millions of Jews who perished during Hitler’s purge of a people he deemed unworthy of life here on Earth. Who among those who perished could have been some great contributor to help mankind survive? Who could have been the next world leader to bring peace and justice? Who could have found a cure for cancer or heart disease? Who could have been the next great athlete or author? Or how many were simply ordinary kind persons? More than six million Jews lost their lives in just a few short years; a tragedy you think could not be repeated in today’s view of civil rights to all men, women and children. But it is happening!
Consider the number of legal abortions performed in the United States since abortion was legalized in 1973. The number is appalling and unthinkable – more than 50 million unborn were taken from us.
What about the right an unborn child has to live a full and productive life? Although the legal right has been given to a woman to abort her baby if she chooses, what about the child’s right to be born and be all he or she can be? As a civil society, can we not make a provision for children to be born? Losing 50 million babies is really unthinkable. Surely we are more civilized than this. We give mothers-to-be rights to take a life and we neglect and negate the right of the unborn to live.
We must ponder these things and make a more decent law; one that allows babies to be born, to pursue their God-given destiny and to live life to the fullest.
In compassion to those who have been raped, victimized by sexual abuse, or become pregnant by accident, there are alternatives. Check the yellow pages in the phone book for groups that will help you find adoption services.
You could be carrying the next president, Olympic gymnast or a regular person who has been fortunate to be born and live life fully.

The point, unfortunately, is that yet another wacko religious right wing zealot, has put for the flimsy comparison that those who hold different views are somehow akin to Hitler, in some way. It never fails. Somehow the health care debate is the same way. In the minds of the teabagger right wing fanatics, those who support health care are by proxy Nazi’s and therefore like Hitler.
My guess though, is that Mr. Dye hasn’t adopted. His ignorance of this part of the issue seems to negate his entire argument. He years for the birth of these 50 million doctors, scientists, and Presidents on one hand, but I’d wager on the other hand he rails against social services which would undoubtedly be needed to feed, clothe, educate, and house a fairly sizable percentage of aborted babies. In other words his arguement is this: He doesn’t believe the government should intefere with peoples lives, unless of course it involves a religious issue and in that case, the government should force women to birth children. Once that is done, it’s back to the government not using his tax dollars to provide any help for these kids he forced into the world. And don’t even think about asking him to adopt a single child. That’s for others to do. He’s just telling us the “way it ought to be.“ Thanks Mr. Dye. Thanks for comparing those who believe in choice to Hitler and then thanks for showing your complete ignorance when it comes to adoption and his belief that it is the cure all for ending abortion in this society.
Yeah, right!!
I have not been on much. I have not seen dad post anything in several months. Maybe I type too fast but then I don’t really care if all you have for any arguement is spell check.
If you see dad post ask him how the knee is doing. He was worried about the damaged tissue from the leg bone trying to push up thru the knee joint and ripping muscle.
Tell him hi. We only meet a cople of time on here doubt he remembers.
oldman and dadw5boys misspell the exact same words over and over. Come on, if you’re going to try to be two different people, at least try to trick us. Combining the 2nd grade level spelling with the crazy thoughts that both of you share, and you aren’t difficult to figure out.
Come now, do you REALLY think you have us fooled?

Have you atoned for any of those? Of course not.
You misinterpret the point. We all ask recognition of Hitler’s social engineering to prevent it ever happening again- to any group.
Get it yet?
Why do you never hear the Jews atone for the salves killed or that died on their slave ships ?
Why do they never atone for those killed on their plantations in the USA or in the Islands ?
How do Jews get all this sympathy when they are just as guilty of causing innocent deaths as many other groups ?
Was there a reason the Jews were not even allowed to work in Banking in the USA till after the Civil War ??
