‘Times’ Have Changed, But God Has Not
Recently there has been media coverage about gay rights saying we need to accept their lifestyle because times have changed. Well, if this be the case then we should accept the fact that people are killing people and children are being abused and murdered, because after all, times have changed and this is a part of life.
God has not changed. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. It was wrong in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah and it is wrong today.
Homosexuals do not have a problem telling President Obama (or anyone who will listen) what they stand for and what they want. It’s time we as God’s people do the same. Christians need to stand up for what is right. We need to let the world know that Jesus is still on his throne.
Ask yourself “Is this my last day on earth?” Please take heed, eternity is just a heartbeat away.

I am a religious person myself. I will never try to justify a gay behavior based on religion though, nothing there to justify, no matter what crap you dig up.
Be gay if you want. Just don’t push it on me or try to justify it based on BS.

Gays and lesbians should be entitled to every right that we “straights” enjoy in the USA, including the right to marry. Your views sound like those against blacks before the Civil Rights Act moved them toward full citizenship.

I did enjoy your well thought out post about Old Testament laws and the lack of any mention of Homosexuality in the New. I just no longer happen to agree that there is a “God.“
Yes, I was raised in the Appalachians as a believing and regular church-going Christian, and I studied the bible for years. I do not buy that story anymore.
You keep your beliefs and I will keep my disbeliefs. That way we won’t step on each others’ toes.
I feel fairly confident that many, if not most, Christians posting on this board probably use the KJV (King James Version) as their Bible—King James became the King of Scotland at 13 mos. of age and King of England after the Death of the Queen of England—Although married (as was required of a King, he SUPPOSEDLY sired 8 children, 5 of which died at infancy, another at 18 and another at 18yrs.—King James was not only Bi-Sexual, but actually preferred to share his bed with male courtisans—He is buried between his two favorite Male Lovers—The first page of your KJV praises him—Do the research yourself—Learning on your own is much more rewarding than following like sheep—
