Region Needs Jobs Travel Center Would Offer

» 3 Comments | Post a Comment

I live in Meadowview. My children attend Meadowview Elementary School. And I support the Love’s Travel Center planned for Exit 24. If I thought for one minute that the Love’s development would endanger children, there is no way I would be in favor of it.

Love’s is ready to help our community with new jobs, new tax revenue and new convenience. The current economy has caused me to lose my job, not once, but twice. Love’s is talking about offering 50 or more full-time jobs, with benefits. They are stable jobs at a time when my family and a lot of others need them.

I also have two children in MES and have no problem with the Travel Center. I haven’t heard of any ill effects on the children at Glade Middle School. Until I hear some “FACTS” that shows there is I am 100% for it.

Oh my, here is a parent with children at MES and he is FOR the travel center. I thought these people didn’t exist. This is a parent than hasn’t bought into the fear tatics being used by the VOP. Way to go MR Hall, thank you for standing up and supporting this.
