Listen up, President Obama, you really should be nominated for a second Nobel Peace Prize for the unintended wakeup calls radiating from your strident efforts to transform our nation into a totalitarian state. The burlesque of “hope and change” has been unmasked to display the face of a rigid dictatorship, determined to dominate every aspect of people’s lives; the very essence of a budding tyranny.
Multitudes of make-believe medical mandarins and carbon cops will prance around in keystone-cop fashion to penalize the peasants and praise the pushers in this vast state-run enterprise of cap and trade, plus Obamacare.
You have unwittingly awakened the sleeping giant that is always ready to respond when liberty is threatened. Your Marxist upbringing has clouded your appreciation of the outstanding role the United States has played on the world stage. You lack pride of country as you emphatically vocalized in your apology tour, bowing to the fantasy of world opinion. We have nothing to apologize for, for without the major contributions of the United States the entire world could be under the iron hand of Nazism, the jackboot of the Japs or the claptrap utopia of Karl Marx’s communism.
The partisan news media hacks have purposely been silent on informing the public of who you are, what you represent and who you associate with, hence your stealthy entry into the Oval Office.
You have denounced the U.S. Constitution as deficient and out-of-date. You are dead wrong. There is no more viable document on the planet. You have risen far above your level of incompetence and apparently are incapable of comprehending the magnificence of our Constitution.

I agree, medical reform is needed, but not this Nancy Pelosi,/ Harry Reid form of change.
As the Greatest Nation on Earth we should strive for the very best health care rather than Shoot…Ready…Aim.

On occasion I read some of the comments concerning topics that interest me. I always see the same people,same comments. Comments posted at all hours of the day/night. Do you people not work? Retired? Spend more of your time doing something beneficial to yourself or the community. Get a life….all of you.

You’re a real exercise in contradiction, aren’t you?
I hear a lot of folks hollering these days about how Obama is trying to turn our country into a communist state, a totalitarian nation, a “rigid dictatorship,“ in the words of Mr. Marshall.
And the funny thing is, they always look so dead serious when they’re hollering.
You want totalitarianism? Try Iran, where they are executing political dissidents every day. Try Russia, where journalists are murdered by thugs. Try China, where the internet itself is heavily censored. Try Zimbabwe, Myanmar, or Saudi Arabia. There are real dictators in this world, who really will stop at nothing to keep the reigns of power and crush dissent, and Mr. Obama is not one of these people.
I remember during the last administration, folks would holler about Bush being a fascist, just as seriously as Mr. Marshall hollered about Obama being a Marxist, and I would have to point out that there is no gestapo in this country. We can voice our dissent without fear that jack-booted thugs will bust our door downs, extract confessions under torture, and shoot us in the back of the head for Crimes Against the State.
This land is free. This land is a democracy. Obama was democratically elected and he is pushing a policy that he promised he would push: namely, to help the millions of uninsured citizens of this country get access to affordable health care.
I don’t agree with every aspect of the current plan, but I believe we need reform, and the only way to push reform is to coordinate the many gears and cogs so that this government can move forward. I think Obama is a very capable president who is doing that best that he can. I guess after eight years of ineptitude, a lot of folks are shocked that the federal government is responding to anything at all, and have nothing to holler but “Sosh-uh-liss!“
Well, holler on. In 2012 this democracy will still be intact. I promise. May it ring free forevermore.

Tonight millions of Americans will flop back in their recliners, semi-stuporous, mouths agape, waiting like sacrificial virgins for some Opinion TV host to rape their vacuous minds. The ignorant are thus stripped of humanity and reduced to a commodity. And commodities have only one purpose in America - exploitation. It’s easy to identify people incapable of independent thought. They can scarcely complete a sentence without mentioning socialism, liberal/conservative, family values, my tax dollars, tree hugger, etc. etc. ad nauseuum.
