Lee Refutes Water Claims At School

» 15 Comments | Post a Comment

My telephone rang at 6:30 a.m. this morning. The person calling was a now-retired employee of Washington County Public Schools. He had just read the letter to the editor written by James Pence that alleged that “raw sewage” runs from Meadowview Elementary School into the creek, and he was upset by Mr. Pence’s statement.

The reason this former employee was upset is that he is man of worth, dedication, and competence who took great pride in maintaining the sewage treatment system at Meadowview Elementary for many years, and Mr. Pence’s inaccurate letter is a disparagement of this man’s good work.

Our former employee told me that Mr. Pence is wrong in his statement, and that the water coming from the Meadowview system is likely more pure than the drinking water of many residences in our county.

I do not know Mr. Pence, nor what information he has to make such a statement.

However, I can assure the residents of Washington County that the wonderfully dedicated employees who maintain our sewage systems do not allow hazardous waste to be discharged. Nor would the Department of Environmental Quality that regularly monitors our operations.

Alan T. Lee
Superintendent
Washington County
Public Schools

Well Farmer…Dr.Lee is hiding alot more than that in the school system…He has to know what kind of teacher he has at GSMS…He’s a pervert..Looking down the girls shirts and god only knows how many more there are…I know because my daughter goes to GSMS…Oh lets not forget about the Lesbians up there….But I guess they got to work somewhere….Oh darn I forgot about the Teachers that come to school STONED….Lay out in the parking lots sleeping it off….Lord help you Dr. Lee….I just don’t know how you sleep at nite…I also wonder where all my backup people are…Don’t be afraid of the doc…Thats why we have these problems now…The people are afraid to speak up….Dr. Lee…How come you all have all these rules at school, but ONLY certain kids have to abide by them??? It’s who you are I know…Well look at (my space) sometime…Lots of weird pictures been taken in the GSMS bathroom….and in the classrooms…Is that what they do all day and is that why WE do all the work at home??? Since when are the kids allowed to take cameras to school…I guess it’s there phone..That I thought was suppose to be in there locker…Thats what you all told my daughter…There are alot of phones used during class time, but it’s all in who you know….And how much you have…

Still waiting on some answers, Mr. Lee. Are you ignoring these other questions?

Well, well, Mr. Lee.  Your response to this water accusation proves you’re listening to what folks are saying. That’s a good thing. I’m sorry, but I don’t believe the things you’re saying here. Too many people who DO know the real deal say the opposite of your claims. You, having the title of Superintendent, aren’t necessarily aware of things that others aren’t.

Now, since you’re listening to folks, and answering questions that folks have, try these:

1.) Why are certain students in Washington County treated differently when they’re involved in similar issues?

2.) Why do administrators put such pressure on teachers to pass students who haven’t done the required work to pass?

3.) How can students be allowed to pass when they’ve missed as many as 100 days of school (unexcused) in a particular year?

4.) Why do administrators get involved with athletics and pressure coaches to play certain players at key positions, etc.?

5.) Why are principals allowed to change grades of certain students, against the wishes of the respective teachers? Isn’t that against the law?

6.) Why are instances of students with weapons, assaults in schools, etc. kept away from the media?

7.) How’s it possible that some recent graduates in Washington County aren’t able to read their diplomas? Does Washington County socially promote students? (I bet you’ll say “no” to that one.)

8.) Why is there so little discipline in Washington County schools? To put it another way, why are students allowed to do pretty much whatever they choose? Did you learn that in one of your doctorate classes?

To anyone reading this…...Mr. Lee wouldn’t touch these questions with a 10 foot pole. He knows all these things happen, and his ignoring the questions is quite funny. I know of people who have sat directly across from him, at his desk, and asked him these very questions, plus a few more. He simply stared at the people who posed these questions. It was as if he was in a coma. He literally wouldn’t say a word.

OK, Mr. Lee…..How about some answers?? I know you’ll ignore this. I just wanted to give you an opportunity to show you aren’t the coward so many think you are. Who knows, maybe they’re right.

Oh..By the way Mr. Lee…you said he was retired… I know who you are referring too, and there wasn’t as many children at that time going to meadowview shool when he was working with the treatment of the sewer…So that dog doesnt hunt in this fight…Go on down to the treatment plant there in meadowview and get you a big ol DRINK….All I can say is somebody is getting big money for this…Happens everyday…READ THE PAPER….You just turned me away from COUNTY WATER if the sewer is cleaner..
