Coburn’s Efforts Transformed Town

» 1 Comment | Post a Comment

It is beyond me why the Bristol Herald Courier continues to play into Diane Johnson’s hands in her personal vendetta against Lee Coburn, Glade Spring town councilman, and his family. Their monumental efforts have been instrumental in turning that crumbling old town into a beautiful, lively and thriving oasis and all they seem to get in return from the media is grief.
Thankfully, the actual citizens of Glade Spring totally support their efforts and love them wholeheartedly. (FYI, Ms. Johnson does not live in the town of Glade Spring, but in Washington County.)
Ms. Johnson has publicly fought with others in the past. In Abingdon, she set out to ruin the reputation and career of the head of the Virginia Master Gardener program. She left no stone unturned in her campaign.  I know that for certain – because that person is me.
Now she has her sights on Lee Coburn, his lovely and talented partner, and their beautiful 4-year-old daughter. And the Bristol Herald Courier enabled her to continue to make her vengeance public. Shame on you! Mind my words: It will come back to haunt you.

Gee- I guess this got away from me- I didn’t realize we had such a beautiful OASIS right here in Wash. Co. to enjoy.

I think I’ll drive up there today and dedicate my Sunday afternoon to enjoying the good life.

I’ll stay until I either become saturated with euphoria, or boredom- whichever comes first.
