Article overlooked wig shop owner

A recent article about Mr. Cain said he was the third downtown merchant to pass away in 2007. That’s so incorrect. My friend for 30-plus years was a merchant in downtown Bristol. Her name was Jayne McGlothlin. She owned McGlothlin Wig Shop at 525 State St.

She was the third merchant to pass away and Mr. Cain was the fourth to pass away. The newspaper tries to correct mistakes made and I hope that they correct this one.

I suggest that people take the time to take a trip downtown and look around and see what’s on State Street and stop in at McGlothlin Wig Shop. I hope that this mistake is corrected. Evidently, there is someone who doesn’t do their homework and should keep up with all business owners in downtown, so mistakes like this won’t happen again.
