Huckabee ‘man for this hour’
Super Tuesday is Feb. 5, and Christians have a choice to make. The rise or fall of our nation depends upon who becomes president in November. We, Christians, have slept quietly in our prosperity these last 60 years and allowed the moral underpinnings of our nation to collapse. Eighty-plus percent of voters assert that they’re Christians, yet look at the condition of our nation. America’s deathly sick. I’m as guilty as anyone for sleeping while her condition worsened.Well, God has given us a “man for this hour,” and we won’t be given this chance again. Mike Huckabee is a devout Christian, obviously not perfect, but a man whose heart openly, unashamedly and compassionately espouses the virtues that were so perfectly manifested in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. These virtues compelled Christ to carry the cross on our behalf. Each Christian is instructed to “pick up our cross daily and follow Him.” Taking on the presidency and desiring to deal righteously with the problems of our lost and dying nation would indeed be the equivalent of bearing a very heavy cross.
America stands at the precipice. We face a world that insidiously hates us – one full of nuclear weapons, madmen and jihadists determined to destroy us. Our economy is crumbling, and our morals already have. We have one hope, and that hope is the God of the Bible.
God has graciously presented us with a man who is devoted to His principles. This is most assuredly our final opportunity to halt the demise of our beloved nation and the loss of our sovereignty as we find ourselves catapulted into a one-world society.
We must support Mike Huckabee with our prayers and financial support.
