Denton is best choice for commissioner

I have known the Denton family all my life. The Dentons are known for their Christian character and integrity. They have been trained from childhood to be courteous, kind, and respectful to other people. Patty Denton is patterned after this same mold.
Denton has a wide variety of work experience and has consistently demonstrated professionalism all her adult life. Having worked on the family farm, she is well aware of the struggles of hard-working farm families.
As the previous data processor manager for Washington County, she not only ordered and installed the computer equipment used in the county offices, but she also wrote all the computer programs for them. She is intimately familiar with the business of the Washington County government.
She was a school teacher in Washington County for 17 years. She is a gifted teacher who influenced countless students to be prepare for, and succeed in, the business world.
Her career as real estate agent has taught her the values of land and properties. She is well aware that property values in Washington County are assessed far too high, which results in citizens paying too much property tax. She is committed to requiring that property assessment to be based on the true value of our land and houses.
Throughout her career, she has always stood for truth, honesty and family values. Our county would be well served by electing public officials with the same high moral and ethical standards that Denton demonstrates.
