Wildlife officials have confirmed two more cases of raccoon rabies in Bristol, Virginia.

Wildlife officials have confirmed two more cases of raccoon rabies in Bristol, Virginia.

One raccoon was found on Bristol View Drive in early June. The second raccoon was found on Liberty Place in July. The two streets are less than a mile apart.

The Washington County, Virginia Health Department has confirmed three other cases of rabies this year.

There have also been cases reported in Sullivan and Carter Counties in Tennessee.
