Celebrate CPR Week June 1-7
Summer is almost here, and people across the region will be engaging in the usual summer activities – like swimming.
To keep America safe this the summer, the American Red Cross is celebrating National CPR and AED Awareness Week June 1-7.
If you were with someone who almost drowned, or someone who had a heart attack, would you know what to do?
If you know how to perform CPR, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, you could save a life.
CPR is an emergency procedure for someone whose heart has stopped beating or has stopped breathing. CPR can help maintain circulation and breathing until emergency medical personnel arrive.
