Tennessee Regents Approve 6% Tuition Hikes

The Tennessee Board of Regents put its seal of approval on tuition hikes Thursday.
Tuition will go up 6% at most of the system’s schools including community colleges and technology centers.
East Tennessee State University and Northeast State fall into that category.
The board also approved a 9% tuition hike at ETSU’s pharmacy school.

Cindy it is funny how they support aliens in the USA because they drive down wages and throw money at them so they will get others to come here from their homeland.
As a parent of a ETSU student I fine this very upsetting. The government always pushes education, but when it comes to helping people in our on country we can’t get it. My daughter is living in Johnson City, TN and works there also, she does not come home during the summer and we still have to pay out of state tution. She tried to get Financial Aide, which she did not receive any. But what really get me upset is that if you are in the United States working on work visa your children and yourself can go to college for free, you pay no taxes, and get help with living expenses.
