365 PROJECT: First Black Chamber Officer

Mid-January the Johnson City-Jonesborough-Washington County Chamber of Commerce appointed Robert L. White as secretary treasurer. The Johnson City native is now the first African-American to hold an officer position in the chamber. White’s post is the first of four in a succession to the chamber chair position. A consummate professional, this businessman is far from boastful. White says focusing on community involvement is the key to better business.
Tricities.com’s Nicki Mayo reports on the man building business and communities through the chamber.
