Washington Co. Tenn. students to be vaccinated against H1N1

Children in Washington County, Tenn. schools will be vaccinated against the H1N1 flu on Tuesday, Dec. 1.

Elementary students who received the first dose of H1N1 flu mist at school in October will receive the second dose of H1N1 on this day. P

Parents of these children should expect their child to bring home a letter requesting any updates on their child’s health history since October. The letters must be signed and returned to school.

High school and middle school students may receive both seasonal mist and/or injectable H1N1 vaccine, if a signed consent has been turned in for each vaccine being requested.
