A congregation in Unicoi County, Tennessee begins the rebuilding process today after fire destroyed its church building.
Next week marks one year since lightning sparked a fire that leveled Church of the Brethren.
Many church members watched as flames caused by Mother Nature on June 8th destroyed their house of worship.
Today, a team of builders called Carpenters for Christ kicked off construction of a new church. Each year the team from Alabama find a church with a need.
The church supplies the materials, and the volunteers give everything else.
This year about 70 workers showed up to help out.
They hope to have the new church building finished in 10 days.
