The Unicoi County Sheriff Department’s Narcotics Division made a large marijuana bust Sunday, outside a pair of trailers in the Limestone Cove area of Unicoi Tenn.  The trailers neighbor McCurry Road and Morris Road.

Chief Deputy Mike Hensley said Sunday’s bust was the result of a month-long investigation.

Swat Team members confiscated more than $1,900, 650 grams of marijuana, and arrested two people—Lawrence Pritchard and Terri Peacock.

Sgt. Frank Rogers said Pritchard sold a quarter-pound of pot to an undercover officer, and Peacock let the sale go down with her young son in the house.

The child is in protective custody.

“About a year ago we made an arrest here, where he had buried marijuana all over the property,“ Rogers said.

Pritchard led investigators to a patch of ground outside the Morris Road trailer about an hour after the bust.  They found a large plastic bag of marijuana buried in the ground.

“The suspect actually told us where the rest of it was at,“ Rogers said.  “It would have been difficult to find it if he hadn’t,“ he said.

Join No IRS on the quest to end government.  Oops, I guess you’ll have to get a job to make up for that lost disability check.  No cops to protect you from the Mexican drug lords that moved in next door, sorry about that too.  Well, at least you got rid of those horrible cameras in Johnson City that actually watch whether you obey the law or not.

If these “paid” informants knew there would be busted kneecaps, profuse bleeding or other serious reproductions for what they do maybe they would mind their own business.

I don’t need to take drugs or drink, I’m fine the way I am. But, I don’t think anyone should tell anybody how to live or what to do. Live and let live (or die), who are we to interfere with someone else’s lifestyle?

Snitches get stitches where I come from.

This is embarassing for the State of Tennessee. The SWAT team, etc. Marijuana should be legal. Breaking up a family over a PLANT? Going after a trailer community? The SWAT team outfit costs more than $1900 dollars. Its a shame and waste of resources. We the people of America are sick and tired of this mistreatment. We need to stand up to this and VOTE NOW! The real crooks are police forces making millions of dollars fighting this so called War on Drugs. Spend the money on people whom seek rehab. We don’t have money to line the pockets of politians, court, police forces, etc. WE ARE SICK OF THIS PATHETIC NON SENSE. look at the number of people for and against this arguement, Majority Rules.

Switch, what is your reasoning? The reasons for keeping it illegal have not held up over time. Marijuana has been PROVEN to help many illnesses. That is why it is legal in some fashion in 14 states and many countries.

If it were legal it would not be sold in private homes under questionable circumstances with minors present. It would be sold in regulated outlets.

It would be taxed. We sure could use the tax dollars.

The foreign drug cartels would no longer be involved in marijuana smuggling. This would hurt their money supply, or at least dent it. Those caught bringing in a supply could additionally be hit by the IRS for not paying taxes on whatever they are caught with. More tax money for the treasury.

And the classic argument that “it is bad because it is illegal and it’s illegal because it’s bad” would no longer be true if it were legal. This circular argument has never held water. There is no substance to it.

Please do some research about the subject. You might be surprised at what you learn.

When speeding is not for safty, when pay for sex is legal, beer for newborn is legal and the sun sets in the East. Marijuana should be legal. Look at the people in this story, another good reason.
SAD!!

Heavily armed NAZI Storm Troopers at war on American Freedom over a PLANT

People should rise up in mass and storm the court house and protest this antiquated NONSENSE.

Legalize and Tax Marijuana

BTW Obama is telling the Feds to back off on Medical Marijuana. When is Tennessee going to get the message???

When California legalizes Marijuana next year will people in Tennessee continue to put up with this NAZI nonsense???
