Two Arrested For Selling Marijuana in Johnson City

Johnson City Police report they’ve arrested two people in connection with distributing marijuana in the area.
On Thursday, the Special Investigations Squad of the JCPD, along with the Washington Co. Sheriff’s Office, made the arrests.
Reports state the investigation started with a marijuana purchase in Johnson City, which then led police to 136 Clyde Miller Drive, Telford.
Arrested were Robert Lee Hollifield, 23, of 136 Clyde Miller Drive, Telford, and Jonathan Craig Garland, 21, of 150 Sugar Hollow Road, Jonesborough.
Both are charged with the Sale of Schedule VI Narcotics, Maintaining a Dwelling Where Controlled Substances are Sold, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Firearms during the Offense. Both were transported to the Washington County Detention Center where they are being held in lieu of $31,000 bond. Arraignments are pending in Washington County General Sessions Court.

Maybe I am taking my Christian liberty that God gave me, my free will, to comment on here about what I think and feel. Do I condemn you for not seeing things my way? NO. I am just stating how I feel about it. I am not hiding behind my religion, I am celebrating it. Oh, ‘emptrsn’, my God gave me free will, I don’t condone abusing any drugs, alcohol or marijuana or any natural substance on this earth. Remember the word I used, Moderation? And don’t think God doesn’t belong in this or any other aspect of life, He belongs in every aspect of all my life. I guess I am just a bit more laid back than some of you out there, my God gives that to me.

Okay.I don’t understand this. Why is it that every time an officer can arrest someone for selling pot they jump on it?
Marijuana does NOT hurt anyone. And if they are selling it, they are probally just trying to do for themselves. You know the bills have to get paid somehow. Also I was reading a comment that another person put saying that there are drugs out here that are legal that are wayy worse than pot! And that is so true. You can’t die from smoking marijuana, you don’t hurt people from smoking it. The worse that could possibly happen is that some people that don’t smoke regulary get parniod or something of that nature. Ask anyone who smokes it how they act. And it’s not volient or harmful to society. I just think that it’s retarded for something like this to get arrested for. But maybe that is just my opinion?!?

Marijuana is a CASH COW for the courts and the cops and the lawyers. It is the biggest SCAM being pulled over on Americans in history. We should be storming the court houses with tar and pitch forks

I personally have never used marijuana, so I don’t have a dog in that race.
However, when the legalization of marijuana is put to a vote, more times than not the public approves of it being legalized, at least for medical purposes. The fact is that there are far more LEGAL drugs that are harmful to people that are being manufactured and distributed throughout our nation which are produced by none other than the PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY! Marijuana isn’t even one tenth as harmful as some of the legal drugs that are being distributed in pharmacies and doctors offices to millions of Americans everyday.
How much money would the big drug companies in the world stand to lose if a drug like marijuana could just as easily be grown and sold like apples?
btw I didnt bring up God, nuff said did! Then tried to build an ungodly defense just as you have. Pollution and things related to that are things we have no control over. Weed to use or not to use we have control over that. It’s the things you have control over that matters! Oh, nuff said, what kinda God allows drug abuse that you serve? It’s not a God that I ever heard of!
