A Tennessee Highway Patrol dispatcher said the right lane of I-26 in Unicoi County at the scene of the truck fire is still blocked.  No word when all lanes will re-open.

A tractor trailer’s brakes overheated as the truck descened out of mountains on I-26 in Unicoi County this morning.  That caused the tires and, eventually, the trailer hauling aluminum siding to catch fire.

Just after the 6 a.m. truck fire, both lanes of I-26 westbound were closed in Unicoi County.

As of 7:45 a.m., the right lane of I-26 west was still blocked with traffic moving slowly pasted the burned truck wreckage on the side of the interstate at the 28 milemarker between the Okolona and Unicoi exits.
