PINEY FLATS, Tenn.—The Tri-Cities Regional Airport Commission ended nearly 18 months of closed door negotiations with its general aviation services provider, Tri-City Aviation, this morning when it approved a new five-year agreement.
Airport Executive Director Patrick Wilson said that as part of the agreement, the airport will take over the general aviation terminal’s capital improvement operations and Tri-City Aviation will stop charging a ramp fee for small planes.
