Three Arrested in Hawkins County on Drug Charges

Church Hill and Mount Carmel police arrested three people this week on drug charges.

Church Hill police say they stopped Robbie Barren for a routine traffic violation Tuesday. Inside his car, officers found what looked like a cell phone. Police say the device was actually a drug scale. Police also found two ounces of marijuana.

Mount Carmel officers also arrested two people on drug charges Tuesday. Police arrested James Woods and Stacey Bailey during a drug sting. Officers say the two were selling prescription pills from home.
