Three arrested in connection with auto burglaries at Kemosabee’s

Three people will appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Thursday, after Johnson City Police arrested them in connection to multiple auto burglaries that occurred at a local restaurant.

Police arrested Wesley Johnson of Saint Paul, Va., Gary Fletcher and Sirena Smith, both of Elizabethton, Tenn.

Police said the trio went through unlocked cars at Kemosabee’s Road House on Boones Creek Road, and then fled from police. According to police, Johnson also tried to run over an employee of the restaurant with his car.

Johnson was charged with Aggravated Assault, Felony Evading, Auto Burglary, Driving on a Revoked License and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Police charged Fletcher with Auto Burglary and Public Intoxication. Meanwhile, Smith was charged with Auto Burglary.
