From what I saw on the news, a girl drove her car off the side road to the middle of the highway and then pulled out in front of the motorcycle Mr. Acord was riding. She swears she didn’t see him in the fog. My daughter, granddaughter, and I were heading to Kingsport when the police were still investigating and clean up was beginning. It was very foggy and we didn’t see the lights on the patrol cars till we were quite close. They believe it was an accident related to the weather. My condolences to your family and may God bless and keep you.

Anyone know who the rider was?

Since tri-cities does not care enough to update the article, many of us would like to know in case we know him.

RIP and God Speed…
