East Tennessee authorities now have a third suspect in custody in connection to a police shooting in Knoxville.
Twenty-six year old, Clevan Johnson surrendered around 2pm Wednesday at a waffle house on Asheville Highway.
He’s now charged with attempted first degree murder.
Police believe he shot a Knoxville officer who was investigating a burglar alarm at a house Tuesday on the city’s northwest side.
Officer Norman Rickman received three gun shot wounds to his chest and arm, and wasn’t wearing a bullet-proof vest.
He remains in critical condition at a Knoxville hospital this morning.
