The Bristol Blotter: Nov. 20, 2009
Bristol Virginia Police Department
- Animal Control is seeking help in tracking down a tiny black dog that escaped from its owner at the Old Airport Road Bojangles near Exit 7 of Interstate 81. A woman was transporting the pup, along with several others, from a rescue shelter to New York state. She stopped to check on the dogs, and the solid black chow named Ladybug ran away. The dog is wearing two collars and is described as “somewhat skittish.” The transporter, who is not local, said she is going to stay in the area “as long as it takes to find her dog.” If anyone spots the dog, please call her at (412) 716-4784, or the Police Department at (276) 645-7400.

A TINY Chow?...I have never seen one that was “tiny” unless it was a newborn pup. Chows are good sized dogs!
