Telford Woman Arrested For Statutory Rape

According to Sheriff Ed Graybeal, Washington County Investigators arrested Sylena J. Rudd, 21, 124 Chalk Level Road Telford, TN on five counts of statutory rape and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  The arrest is the result of a referral made from the Department of Children’s Services Abuse Hotline. Rudd is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $51,000 bond.  A preliminary hearing is set for October 26, 2009 in Jonesborough Sessions Court.

this woman is a very good friend of mine ive known her for many years! and i also know the girl she was WRONGLY ACUSSED of raping!! things like this just shows how sad humans really are.we have to ruin lives to protect ourselves?? thats bad,it makes me embarresed to be an american because they dont do things like this in any other country!she is fully innocent so people get real.

This is a great example of “don’t believe everything you see in the news”. I know the victim in this story extremely well, and this so-called rape never occurred. The two were simply very close friends. No news story here folks, unless you want the truth. Only idiots believe people are guilty until proven innocent and believe that those who are just arrested for something like this should be hung. A big part of the time even the trial isn’t fair. It is estimated that over 25 percent of the penitentiary population is actually completely innocent, especially on deathrow. Makes one think doesn’t it?

6th Amendment

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.

This woman (Sylena J. Rudd)and the other man (John Andrew Hicks) should be hung in the middle of town. Don’t waste tax payers money on people like this. What the HECK is wrong with people like this??
