I’ll bet her defense in court will be one ‘creative story’.
We’ll see if the School Board deals with this at their Monday meeting.
They should at least suspend her…
pops, you said that teenagers now adays just come into your house and take over. That was what I was responding to. Not in my house they will not. I do have a teenager and he nor his friends would do this in my house. In a few years he will no longer be a teenager and your point is mute. Not all teenagers are the partying destroying kind and I am not a weak parent that has to be super cool with the kids. Your last post makes no sense. NO Teenager is going to come into my house and take it over..now or in a few years, I tought my teenager self respect adn respect for others as well as those that enter my home now and in the future.
And to the one that said it was strange to have 25 kids at your house..not really, they were having a party…it’s not strange. Allowing the alcohol was completely stupid but to have that many teenagers in one place is pretty common.
How in Hades is she in the bed with 25 people in the house and she not be aware of what is going on? Was she passed out? Did the kids outlast her partying?
My biggest question: Why did she have 25 kids at her house in the first place? That just seems a little strange!
evaningstar- you said ARE the parent of a teenager. Mine are all grown and very successful-now. Just give it a few years and remember what I said and see if you can say the same thing. I felt the same way as you but things happen….you`ll see.
he did flip his car and get a dui… It was near deer run.
I too am a parent of a teenager and no teenager is going to come in and take over my house with or without me there. If I was there I would put them out on their ear or the police would do it for me if I was not able, if I was not there my teenager would do the same for fear of what I would do if he didn’t. To even say that an adults household could be taken over by a teenager and there is nothing they could do about it is absolutely ludicrous. I have had non-alcoholic parties at my house many times with up to 40 kids being there. I make myself a presence and the kids that visit my house know that and know what is expected of them. I have had to call a parent to come and get their kid because of alcohol being brought in to my house by them. I called their parent, and the parent told me to just send them home. I then instructed the parent that they would either come and drive the kid home or the police would. Needless to say they came and got their kid and he does not return to my house. If you think you can’t control your house then you can’t. You have to put forth the energy to make sure you are providing a safe environment for other peoples kids to hang out at your house and I take that responsibility very seriously. They all have a good time and that is why they hang out at our house all the time, without drugs and alcohol. This parent had 20-25 kids at her house, did she check on them from time to time or was she in bed like one of the posts stated? How can you go to bed and leave that many kids unsupervised in your home. “IF” that is true then you deserve what you get and should lose your job because you are too irresponsible to be in care of other peoples children. Also, a poster stated that this ladies son wrecked a car and got a dui. If this is true she is truly an unfit parent if she allowed this to happen. You put your kids under a watchful eye, if they screw up that badly you don’t give them the inch to take a mile again. She is lucky he didn’t kill himself when he wrecked. (if that is true)
I remember from looking at a few papers that were about her some stealing a hub cap from a homeless guy or something… Any ways april.. I don’t know if you know this our not…. But it is now a public matter… What we post is under the freedom of speech… and we have the right to do so.. as long as it is not slander… and from my expert opinion nothing has even came close to that yet. I have a question…. How do you and your mom not know what is going on with 20-25 kids in and out of your house… I mean… I know shes not blind… Also didn’t her son.. the same one at this party flip his car and get a dui just a year ago? and he was only 16/17 then… wow…
April,I did not intentionally point fingers at you! I didn’t even know that you were in the house at the time the party got busted. So excuse me for your misunderstanding. I don’t personally know YOU,but I do know your brother & I’ve spoken with many others that know your brother as well say that this isn’t the first party that your brother has been busted at. Sorry. I will not repeat what I’ve heard, any longer. It may be immature for grown women and men to get on here and gossip about this, but they have the comment section on this page for a reason! Maybe not to how far this has been taken, but…they do have bold letters that says “SOUND OFF:“ then a question following that, meaning they are wanting you to state your opinion on this case/article! But I apologize, and I hope that whatever is done will teach your mother and all of the teens busted at this party. I apologize for your misunderstanding.
I am a responsible parent of a teenager…and if alcohol is in the house it is under lock and key. Yes I agree that teenagers will be just that…teenagers. It is up to the parents to anticipate potential problems and guard against them. But today too many parents allow too many liberties, to children who are too immature to handle them. I often hear, not my son/daughter, they would never do that. Yeah right. I have good kids, but even the best of kids have bad judgement from time to time. And the same goes for adults. It’s the punishments that make them think next time… maybe this isn’t such a good idea…
To those of you accusing this fine lady and public servent—get a life!! Where have you been the last 10 years? Apparently you didnt have teenage kids.
This is what teenagers do now they come in,uninvited, and take over a house for a party if they think no adults are home. Even if the adults are around they will sneak and drink and you would never know it. This poor lady is guilty of only one thing-being the parent of todays teenagers.
My own kids knew that if they had a party when we were gone they would get there butts kicked when I got home. But you know what happened?? Their friends found out we were gone and they just came on over and took over the house. Needless to say my son paid the price for all. The point is things like this happen even if you are a responsible parent. Give this lady a break.
