STUDENT OF THE WEEK: Tyler Yokley

Tyler Yokley is the Phil Bachman Toyota/ 11 Connects Student of The Week. He’s a sophomore at Sullivan South High School. Tyler says he understands what doing well in school now will mean for his future.
“I just try to make the best grades I can for college,“ said Yokley
Tyler is already considering attending King College or the University of Tennessee.
Mark Pendleton is one of Tyler’s teachers. He is not surprised that Tyler has received this kind of recognition for his work in school. 
“Tyler is a hard worker, it’s not a surprise, he works in his wrestling and he brings that to the classroom, so that is one thing that makes him successful is just his hard work and his participation and his work ethic,“ said Pendleton.
