Sen. Barack Obama appeared with Gov. Tim Kaine during campaign stops in Chester and Chesapeake Virginia Thursday. The rallies fueled more speculation about Kaine’s place on Obama’s list of vice-presidential possibilities.
Obama told USA Today, his mind is made up, but won’t reveal his choice until Saturday afternoon, in a text message to campaign supporters. He offered a cryptic description of his selection: someone independent, someone who would challenge him in the White House, and someone who would strengthen the U.S. economy.
Virginia state Senator Phillip Puckett (D-38th Dist.) listed the economy as one of Kaine’s strengths. Puckett, a Kaine confidant, said, “It’s going to be a stretch for Democrats to take Virginia, regardless of who is on the ticket, because we haven’t voted for a Democratic President since 1964.“

I agree with Mullins.
Of course, Hillary will not do, but Kaine has made excuses for the criminal, immoral war (for Israel) in Iraq.
That alone shows that Kaine is either an idiot or willing to say anything to get elected (chosen). I respected the man until he made excuses for BushCo. Now he’s just another Neocon and the Democratic party doesn’t need that. Nor does America.
Please dear Lord, anybody but Kaine….
