BRISTOL, Va. – Mike Signer kicked off his stretch run for the Virginia lieutenant governor’s nomination with a Wednesday morning visit to the Twin City.
An Arlington attorney, Signer said he was ready to prosecute the political case against current Republican Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling. But his first order of business is defeating Jody Wagner in Tuesday’s Democratic primary.
“It won’t be easy, but I’m confident we’re going to win,” Signer said after speaking with a group of about 20 at Java Js.
To that end, his Wednesday itinerary also includes stops in Wise County, Lynchburg, Charlottesville and Arlington, campaign manager Christian Rickers said.
To learn more about Signer’s campaign, read Thursday’s Bristol Herald Courier.
