Back to School from Winter Break
Most schools go back tomorrow, Johnson City, on Tuesday... how are kids handling the transition and what can parents do to prepare them?

Two weeks of vacation come to an end.
Unicoi Co., Tenn.— Holiday presents are unwrapped and toys have all been played with. Winter break is over, and now it’s time to hit the books.
Middle school student, Austin Hendrickson, isn’t looking forward to the homework, but he is excited for basketball games and friends.
Teachers and students alike need to get back into the school day routine, earlier bed times and scheduled events.
Getting back for Spring semester is easier than Fall, after the shorter break, but expect students to be more tired and less focused as the first class bell rings. Johnson City schools have a teacher work day Monday, so students return to class Tuesday.
