Red Knight’s Poker Run Sets World Record

BRISTOL, Va. – The Poker Run sponsored by the Red Knights Motorcycle Club was authenticated by the Guinness Book of World Records on Sunday as the world’s largest poker run ever to take place, said Mark McCormick, an event participant and president of the motorcycle club’s Virginia Chapter 14.

“In all we had 2090 motorcycles and the single largest venue was Winter Haven Florida with 323,” he said Sunday in a written statement.

Members of 42 Red Knights chapters from 12 states participated in the Saturday event, which was a fundraising effort for the Fallen Firefighter Survivor Foundation, McCormick said. The amount of money raised has not been totaled yet.
