The Damascus, Virginia Police Department is trying to find a man they believe helped operate a meth lab, after already making one arrest in this case.

Police are looking for William Joseph Thomas. They say Thomas assaulted an officer after police found marijuana growing behind his home located on the 600 block of Damascus Drive on Wednesday. Police then say Thomas fled on foot.

Police searched the home and say they found large amounts of marijuana, cocaine and a meth operation. Police also say they found and arrested Kristen Nicole Short. They found Short hiding in the home during the drug investigation.

Short faces many drug charges and police say she is in jail without bond.

According to police, Thomas is not considered to be dangerous, but he does face multiple drug charges. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact the Damascus Police Department.

Everone needs all the information before judging the people involved and the paper needs all the facts not hear say before printing stories.

I feel sorry for the families who live next door to the Thomas household. It is those people who are truly the victims.
