Organization Known For Helping Others Needs Your Help

A local charity that helps people when they need it most needs your help to continue its mission.

When fire destroyed the Silver Landing Apartments in Church Hill, Tennessee earlier this month, one person died and ten families lost their homes.

The Northeast Tennessee Chapter of The American Red Cross came to the aid of the families.  That help brought the total of families helped in the last 9 months to 122.

Now, The Northeast Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross needs your help in the form of donations.

You can help the American Red Cross rebuild its bankroll by simply picking up your golf clubs.

The Red Cross will host a golf tournament fundraiser Friday at The Crossings Golf Course in Jonesborough.  It tees off at 1:30.  Call (423) 378-8700 to register.
