BREAKING NEWS: Missing Rogersville Soldier Found in El Paso, Texas
UPDATE AT 5:00 PM
The Rogerville soldier, kidnapped and beaten by her husband is with her family in El Paso. Jeneesa Lewis’ grandmother and sister flew out to Texas Monday morning to be with Lewis while she recovers. Clinton Lewis is being held on Aggraviated Kidnapping charges and was given a 75-thousand dollar bond. He will be arraigned on Tuesday morning.

According to family members and news reports in Texas, Pfc. Jenessa Lewis has been found hurt but alive in El Paso Texas. Her estranged husband, Clinton Lewis turned himself in after seeing news reports about the case, family members confirmed to News Channel 11. Jenessa Lewis’ sister said she was stabbed twice, beaten, and choked. So far, News Channel 11’s attempts to contact El Paso, Texas police have been unsuccessful.

El Paso, Texas police are looking for a missing Army soldier stationed at Ft. Bliss who disappeared last Thursday. 29-year old Jeneesa Lewis did not show up for work on Friday morning, prompting a phone call to her family in Rogersville. The family says, Jeneesa and her husband Clinton Lewis had just broke up this week. According to the family, Jeneesa told them the day of her disappearance that he alledgedly, left El Paso on a bus. Police say, the apartment she shared with her husband was ransacked and there was a small amount of blood found inside. Investigators believe Jenessa and Clinton are in a white Dodge Dakota truck with Texas plates. The family told News Channel Eleven on Sunday, they believe Clinton took Jeneesa by force. Sister Tammy Skelton says they had a history of violence in their relationship.
Police have issued a “Be on the lookout” for the couple. Anyone with information is asked to contact authorities at 1-915-566-8477.
