Man Accused Of Ramming House, Trying To Run Over Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy
A Chuckey, Tennessee man who deputies said went on a destructive rampage is behind bars after officers say he rammed a house with a car and tried to run over a Greene County Sheriff’s deputy.
WGRV radio reports it happened last night at a home on Silver Lake Lane.
According to a police report, Daryl Wayne Scott was drunk when he started fighting with people in the home, throwing furniture and ramming the house with his car. Deputy Robert Livingston says when he showed up, Scott tried to run over him.
No one was hurt.
Scott’s in jail facing multiple charges.
