Jonesborough man arrested on two counts of aggravated burglary

According to Sheriff Ed Graybeal, Robert G. Davenport Jr., 32 of 4515 Cherokee Road in Jonesborough, was charged with two counts of Aggravated Burglary. At approximately 6:14pm the homeowner of 294 Archer Road filed a complaint with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an unknown person making entry into his residence, stealing the keys to his four wheeler and a riding lawn mower.

At approximately 9:15 p.m. the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division responded to an Aggravated Burglary in progress at 294 Archer Road. Upon their arrival Officers discovered that the homeowner had caught Mr. Davenport in the progress of stealing his four wheeler from his basement. Davenport was arrested on two counts of Aggravated Burglary.

Mr. Davenport is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $40,000 bond.
