Food City has some good news for area shoppers. The grocery store chain has extended its Fuel and Pharmacy Bucks promotion through August 16th. The promotion was scheduled to end on July 19th.

Food City launched the promotion earlier this summer. Customers can earn $1 in fuel/pharmacy bucks with the purchase of certain items. They can then redeem the coupons at area stores for gasoline or prescriptions, but they must use the coupons by August 30th or they will expire.

This is the second year Food City has offered the Fuel Bucks program.

Very nice idea for Food City to do this. I can shop, save by buying their brands on some items, and get some help with gasoline purchases…It is very appreciated.

This is a really good program and marketing strategy for KVAT foods. Most of the products (Food Club) that are included in the program are as good as or better than the products the nationwide chains offer. I am so glad to have the fuel/pharmacy bucks program back. With the price of fuel continuously rising, I will utilize Food City more often and recommend my friends and family to do the same. God bless Steve Smith.
