UPDATE:  Sheriff says aunt stabbed nephew in Washington County, Virginia

Washington County, Virginia Sheriff Fred Newman issued this update about the stabbing”

“Washington County Central Dispatch received a call at approx 4:00 PM Friday afternoon in regards to a stabbing. Deputies responded to a location at Lake Shore Campground, Lot # 48, County Park Road, Abingdon, Va. Upon arrival, deputies found 22 year-old Jonathan Grizzle, of that same address with stab wounds to the upper right leg. Grizzle was transported to Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon by the Washington County Lifesaving Crew. The victim was released after undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The victim identified his assailant as his aunt, 57 year old Donna Street, also of the same address. Charges against Ms. Street are pending further investigation of the incident.“

A man was stabbed multiple times during a family feud Friday afternoon in Washington County, Virginia, Sheriff Fred Newman said.

The stabbing happened around 3 p.m. at the Lake Shore Campground off County Park Road.

Sheriff Newman said the victim was being treated at a local emergency room, and more details will be released later tonight.
