Family, food, fun and free stuff are the forces behind the third annual Elizabethton July 4th Parade.
Organizer Bob Cable says making everything free is the best way to let freedom ring through the streets of Elizabethton.
Activities start at 9 a.m. The parade will move down Elk street toward the Veterans’ Monument starting at 1p.m.
More than 25,000 are expected to come out for the parade and family events.
Cable says there are hot dog eating contests, a moon bounce and thousands of free hotdogs, bottled water and watermelon for parade goers.
